After IAS PCS coaching Chief Minister Abhyudaya Yojana will help in preparation for NEET and JEE

This information was given by Social Welfare Minister, Independent Charge Asim Arun in a conversation with ‘Hindustan’. He said that under the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojna, the trainees of SC/ST and general category living below poverty line families preparing for competitive examinations would be given tablets along with internet charges.

Giving information about the steps taken to improve the functioning of the department during his last hundred days, he said that 2.25 lakh such beneficiaries of old age pension scheme were identified and removed and pension amount should be sent in their names. He said that in the last hundred days, it has been his endeavor to make the working of the Social Welfare Department more accessible and transparent through technology. For this, biometric attendance in scholarship scheme, installation of CCTV cameras in ashram system schools to know how many children are studying there, how many staff are there and how many teachers are there. Apart from this, monitoring of aided schools is also being done under the scholarship scheme. He told that he has started making five special cells for monitoring.
