After studying online for a week, the trainee will one day go to the contact center and take guidance from the teacher. Teachers are also being trained for this. The state government has approved a budget of Rs.30 crore to make this scheme even better.

This information was given by Social Welfare Minister, Independent Charge Asim Arun in a conversation with ‘Hindustan’. He said that under the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojna, the trainees of SC/ST and general category living below poverty line families preparing for competitive examinations would be given tablets along with internet charges.

Giving information about the steps taken to improve the functioning of the department during his last hundred days, he said that 2.25 lakh such beneficiaries of old age pension scheme were identified and removed and pension amount should be sent in their names. For this, biometric attendance in scholarship scheme, installation of CCTV cameras in ashram system schools to know how many children are studying there, how many staff are there and how many teachers are there. Apart from this, monitoring of aided schools is also being done under the scholarship scheme. He told that he has started making five special cells for monitoring.
