The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) today extended the deadline for the postgraduate scholarship scheme until December 31. Interested and qualified candidates should apply online at pgscholarship.aicte-india.org.
Students who have passed the GATE, GPAT, or CEED and are enrolled in AICTE-approved institutes or programmes are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students who are interested should be full-time students. Students in their final year of dual degree integrated programmes are also eligible for the scholarship beginning in the ninth semester, but their CGPA must be 8 or higher (on a scale of 10) for their final year.
Candidates who are chosen will be paid Rs 12,400 per month. The website includes instructions on how to apply.

— Bank account information; the bank account must be linked to the Aadhar Card. Only active Aadhar savings bank accounts will be accepted. (Frill accounts, Jan Dhan accounts, transaction-limited bank accounts, and joint accounts will not be accepted.) During this time, the bank account should not be closed or transferred.)
— Aadhar card scanned in JPG/JPEG format.
— Scanned copy of a valid SC/ST, EWS, OBC, and Non-Creamy Layer category certificate (NCL).
The student’s candidacy will be verified by the institution. The institute should ensure that the student’s personal information, date of admission, and course start date are correctly entered.
