AIIMS NORCET 5 Stage 2 exam to be held on October 7, check notice here

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences administers the AIIMS NORCET exam as a national entrance exam for employing nursing officers at various AIIMS hospitals throughout India.

AIIMS NORCET 5 Stage 2: The AIIMS NORCET 5 Stage 2 exam date has been declared by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test-5 Stage II exam will be held on October 7, 2023, according to the notice that was published. On September 17, 2023, an online CBT for the Stage I exam was held, and on September 25, 2023, the results were made public. The AIIMS has announced 3789 open positions so far this year.

The option to apply online by selecting the hospital or institute of your choice and listing those choices in the order of preference was available from September 26 through September 30, 2023 (up to 05:00 PM), and it was then extended to October 2, 2023 (05:00 PM).

Candidates had one more chance to choose their chosen hospitals or institutes by October 5, 2023 at 5:00 PM. Without further notification, their NORCET-5 Stage-II candidature will be withdrawn if they failed to comply.

The institute has also made public a list of 132 candidates who did not submit their option and order of preference by October 2, 2023, for the NORCET-05 Stage-II exam.

AIIMS NORCET-5: Application for Nursing Officer Recruitment Test 2023 begins

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences administers the AIIMS NORCET exam as a national entrance exam for employing nursing officers at various AIIMS hospitals throughout India. Candidates are chosen on the basis of their merit, and institutions are assigned to them accordingly. For Grade B officers, there is a permanent hiring process.

Candidates must hold a diploma in general nursing and midwifery (GNM) from a recognised institute or a B.Sc. in nursing from an accredited university.

After earning their educational credentials, candidates must have at least two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.

AIIMS NORCET 5 Stage 2 exam format

The AIIMS NORCET exam is a two-hour computer-based test. There are 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in total, divided into the following four groups:

  • Basics of Nursing (50 MCQs)
  • Practise of Nursing (50 MCQs)
  • (50 MCQs) Medical-Surgical Nursing
  • (50 MCQs) Community Health Nursing
