AIMA MAT IBT 2023: Exam Instructions for Candidates

To take the MAT IBT exam in 2023, candidates must have a webcam-equipped laptop or desktop computer and a stable internet connection.

AIMA MAT IBT 2023: The All India Management Association (AIMA) will administer the MAT IBT 2023 exam at various times between September 9 and September 16, 2023. Participants in the MAT IBT examination must be conversant with the IBT Guide to Online Assessment.

In 2020, AIMA introduced the MAT Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (IBT) as a new variant of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT). This MAT IBT mode enables admission to MBA and PGDM programmes offered by MAT-participating colleges.

How to initiate the AIMA MAT IBT 2023 Exam?

To take the MAT 2023 in IBT mode, candidates must guarantee that their systems meet the minimum requirements. Regarding the requirements, candidates can refer to the summary listed below.

1. Introduce MAT IBT

  • Visit the official website and go to the option available to commence the MAT IBT.
  • The examination will launch in a distinct window. Click the “Start Test” icon to start the test.

2. Select The Alternative

  • Those who do not have MSB (Mettl Secure Browser) installed on their system will see the option ‘DOWNLOAD MSB’ on their displays.
  • Click the MSB download button and install MSB according to the provided instructions.
  • If the MSB is already installed on your system, you may proceed directly.

3. Set up MSB

  1. The MSB installation files will be downloaded to your computer.
  2. Now, launch the downloaded files to finish the installation.
  3. Check the box in the End-User Licence Terms window that reads “I accept the licence terms and conditions.”

4. Select Install

  • The MSB icon will be displayed on the system once the installation is complete.

5. Launch MSB

  • After successful MSB installation, click on the option presented as ‘PROCEED TO TEST’.
  • Click ‘Launch Test’ on a different page.
  • A pop-up window will appear; select the ‘Open MSB’ button.
  • You will see a system warning requesting that you close any unnecessary applications. Click the “OK” button to dismiss all applications.

6. Grant Authorizations

  1. You will be asked for permission to use your system’s camera and microphone; therefore, “Click on Allow.”
  2. Click “Next” to begin the exam.

7. Provide Specifics

  1. Fill out the form with your information, including email, first name, organisation, date of birth, contact number, gender, and country.
  2. Then, select Next.

8. Submit the Photograph

  1. You will be required to submit a photo of your visage and your identification.
  2. To initiate the procedure, place your face within the displayed margins and take a picture of it. Then, continue by selecting “Next.”
  3. In the second stage, position your ID within the outlined area displayed on the screen and take a picture of it. Following that, select “Submit.”

9. Wait for Permission

  • Before granting you access to commence the examination, the administering authority will authenticate the photographs of your face and ID.
  • AIMA has specified that the authorization process may take between two and three minutes.
  • If the submitted snapshots are not obvious, you will be required to resubmit them.
  • Follow the instructions on the subsequent screen and upload the required image(s).

10. Start with the Exam

  1. A notification will appear in a pop-up window indicating that the exam will be monitored. Confirm your agreement by selecting ‘Proceed to Test.’
