AMU: Centre of Professional Courses Organises Workshop on the Art of Interview

Professor Mohd Asif Khan, Director, CPC, and Dr. Zuhaib Ahmad, Coordinator, CPC, were among the prominent figures present at the event.

The Centre of Professional Courses (CPC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized a one-day workshop at the Department of Commerce, titled “The Art of the Interview: From Fear to Fun”.

Conducting the workshop for the students pursuing Post Graduate Diplomas in Business Management and in International Business, CA Mohd Asim, delineated essential strategies for conquering fear, handling hesitation, nervousness, and panic during interviews. He underscored the importance of smart preparation, advocating the utilization of corporate websites, including a comprehensive understanding of job descriptions provided by the corporate entities.

The workshop concluded with the application of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, specifically the Fast Phobia Cure method. The aim was to bolster the confidence of the students and equip them with the tools to effectively overcome fear during interviews.
