Medical College Hospital, at the Bengaluru-based Advanced Interventional Management of Pain Conference.
In his speech to the conference, Professor Usmani noted that while pharmacotherapy is typically used to treat neuropathic pain, patients with peripheral neuropathy who have not responded well to pharmacotherapy or who have experienced adverse drug reactions may be candidates for minimally invasive interventional pain procedures like sympathetic block or neurolysis.
