Attend Annual Conference: At the 45th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, UP Chapter, Kanpur (UPISACON 2023), a number of faculty members from the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, took part and made various contributions to the conference’s smooth operation.

During his lecture titled “Steroids in ARDS- How Much is Too Much?” Prof. Qazi Ehsan Ali, the department’s chairman, discussed the debates surrounding the ideal role and dosage of steroids in critically ill patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome.

Student Induction and Orientation Program held at Kishanganj Centre of AMU

Dr. Manazir Athar engaged in a Pro-Con debate on the important topic of “Aggressive Fluid Resuscitation in ICU Patients” and brought attention to the subtleties and difficulties of fluid resuscitation protocol in the intensive care unit.

In the meantime, as part of the conference, Prof. Syed Moied Ahmed and Dr. Abu Nadeem led a session on “Airway Management” at the SIS Hospital. Additionally, he presided over courses on “Point of Care Investigations and Traumatic Injuries”.
