J. Warsi, Chairman, Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University, and the department’s guest teachers Dr. Noman Tahir and Dr. Mehvish Mohsin presented research papers.
Prof. Warsi and Dr. Tahir co-authored a paper titled “A Linguistic Fieldwork: Some Ethical Considerations” in which they discussed the ethical issues that are intricately related to the practise of linguistic fieldwork and emphasised its critical importance in the processes of documenting, preserving, and revitalising endangered languages.

Prof. Warsi and Dr. Mehvish Mohsin presented a paper titled “Current Ethical Issues of Plagiarism in Academic Writing and Publication” that focused on the concept and definition, various forms, methods for detection, strategies for prevention, ethical ramifications, and the underlying factors that contribute to plagiarism.
