A regular student of the university who has earned at least one degree through regular course of study from AMU.
Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal: For the Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal, 2022–2023, Aligarh Muslim University is accepting applications from its regular students. The application form is required and can be found on the Dean of Students’ Welfare page at https://api.amu.ac.in/storage//file/10062/notice-and-circular/1699678901.pdf.
A regular student of the university who has earned at least one degree through regular course of study from AMU, including the MBBS, BUMS graduates doing internship, or students pursuing an M.Phil. or Ph.D., is eligible to apply for the medal, according to a notification released by the office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare.

Students who have taken a hiatus between two courses, passed a course with supplemental work or a backlog, or are facing disciplinary action will not be eligible for the prize.
