By participating, the Chairpersons of various Departments, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students demonstrated the value of sustainability and environmental awareness while supporting efforts around the world to address climate change.
One hundred saplings of different ornamental and horticultural plants, including Bottle palm, Aonla, Ashok Pandula, Exora, Croton, Araucaria, Gule-Fanoos, and Harsingar, among others, were planted under the supervision of Prof. Akram Ahmad Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
Prof. Khan emphasised the value of a greener, healthier environment in people’s lives and urged everyone to support the campus’s greenery.
People urged to join one-year Yoga Training Workshop at AMU
Participants in the drive were the UG/PG Students of the Centre of Agriculture Education and Prof. Iqbal Ahmad, Coordinator of the B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture.
The curriculum gave the students invaluable hands-on experience, which encouraged a sense of responsibility and concern for the environment and helped us all work towards creating a campus and society that is more ecologically friendly and sustainable.
