AMU Professor Izharul Haq Farooqi Delivers Keynote Address

Prof. Izharul Haq Farooqi, Chairperson, Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) delivered a keynote address at the international conference entitled “UTB STE Connect 2003 – Research and Applications for a Better World”, organized by University Teknologi Brunei.

Speaking on “Aerobic Granulation Technology – Breakthrough in Wastewater Treatment”, Prof Farooqi highlighted the advantages of the technology for industrial wastewater treatment. He informed the gathering that successful application of the technology would save 50% of land and energy requirements.
