Annual Hall Function at Sir Syed Hall (South) Celebrated

Annual Hall Function: The ancient Strachey Hall recently hosted the annual hall function for Aligarh Muslim University’s Sir Syed Hall (South). The occasion served as a showcase for AMU’s storied history and core principles.

In his welcome message, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, provost of the hall, urged students to respect the university’s long-standing traditions and practises. He gave a brief description of the Annual Hall Function’s goals while highlighting the value of maintaining academic traditions.

Professor Ubaidullah Khan, dean of the faculty of ayurvedic medicine at Ajmal Khan Tibiyya College, presided over the occasion. In his address, Professor Khan emphasised the importance of human values and the preservation of academic traditions and thanked the hall administration and the organising team for planning the occasion.

Swachhta Pakhwada observed at AMU with commitment

Professor Rizwan Khan, from AMU’s Department of English, spoke as the chief guest and shared his knowledge and experiences with the audience. He emphasised the special tradition of AMU and the significance of student personality development, highlighting the roles of education, culture, and personal development.

Dr. Zubair Shadab Khan, the Urdu Academy’s deputy director at AMU, emphasised the value of education, community, and tradition in influencing students’ futures.

Md. Ehtashamul Islam Khan, Senior Hall, thanked everyone in attendance for coming. He gave the Annual Hall report and said that residents, the planning committee, volunteers, post holders, and hall personnel all contributed to the success of the event.
