Bihar Pharmacist Vacancy: The Patna High Court ruled on Tuesday that only pharmacy diploma holders are eligible for the position of pharmacist.

The court ruled that B Pharma and M Pharma graduates are ineligible for this position. According to Rule 6 of the Bihar Pharmacist Cadre Rules, Inter pass students in Biology and Mathematics who have completed a three-part Diploma in Pharmacy are eligible for the post of Pharmacist.

According to the court, students who have completed B Pharma and M Pharma courses are ineligible for this position under the law. After hearing an appeal filed by the state government and Arvind Kumar, a diploma holder student in pharmacy, a division bench of Justice PB Bajintri and Justice Arun Kumar Jha issued this significant decision.

Senior advocate PK Shahi and advocate Shashi Bhushan Singh appeared on the student’s behalf. It is worth noting that the single bench of the High Court, while declaring B Pharma and M Pharma degree holders eligible for this post, stated that by changing the software for this post, the students’ applications would be accepted immediately. The validity of this order was challenged in an appeal filed by the state government and the diploma holder. After a lengthy hearing, the division bench reversed the single bench’s decision.
