CAT 2023 registration process update: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will start accepting applications for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 soon. The CAT 2023 application window will open on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, on August 2 at 10 a.m.
Candidates must be aware that the registration process for IIM CAT 2023 will end on September 13. Candidates, who have successfully enrolled for the management entrance exam, must take the CAT 2023 exam on November 26, 2023. On the CAT exam day, the computer-based exam (CBT) will be administered in three sessions. Exam admit cards will be distributed on October 25, per the schedule.
Non-IIMs that have enrolled to receive the results will also consider CAT 2023 scores for MBA admission. Before filling out the CAT application form 2023, applicants must have all required documents on hand.
Applicants can fill out the IIM CAT application form by following the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Register on the official IIM CAT website, iimcat.ac.in 2023. Click the ‘New Candidate Registration for the CAT 2023’ link on the homepage. Registering requires a genuine email address, mobile phone number, and birth date. Now, enter the OTP that was sent to the mobile number you provided to generate login credentials.
Step 2: Complete the application form – Click the ‘Registered Candidate logon for CAT 2023’ link and log in with the credentials generated. Input personal, academic, work experience, and programme information into the application form. Candidates must choose six preferable exam locations. “*” (asterisk) signifies a required field, and the fields marked with this symbol must be completed or you will be unable to submit the CAT form 2023.
Step 3: Pay the registration charge online. Candidates must pay the registration fee online. The registration fee for the CAT in 2023 is Rs 2,400 for candidates in the general category and Rs 1,200 for candidates in the SC, ST, and PwD categories.
Step 4. Upload documents – A scanned passport-sized photograph with dimensions of 1200 pixels by 1200 pixels in jpg or jpeg format and a maximum file size of 80 KB. Signature dimensions should be 80mm x 35mm. In addition, candidates must upload scanned copies of their date of birth certificate, proof of residence, Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, graduation certificates, final year certificates for students in their final year of graduation, a valid ID, work experience documents, caste and PWD certificates, if applicable. After effective payment and completion of the registration and application form processes.
Step 5: Submit the application. Review the selected courses and colleges, as well as the details inputted, confirm that the information is accurate, and submit the form. After submitting the CAT application form, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address. Candidates must save the page confirming their application for future reference.
