Equal weightage of both the term in practical exam

As per the information shared by CBSE, most of the committee members had recommended that the weightage for Term 1 (Theory) should be 30 per cent and for Term 2 (Theory) at 70 per cent respectively. As far as the practical examination is concerned, both term 1 and term 2 should be given equal weightage.

The Board’s Competent Committee discussed the Committee’s deliberations in detail and it was decided to accept the recommendations. The weightage has been fixed at 30 for Term 1 theory paper and 70% for Term II. However, it was decided to give equal weightage to prepare the final result of both classes 10 and 12 in the practical examination.

– Students who were suffering from covid in any term or term exam
– Students participating in national or international sports
– Students participating in International Olympiads
– Students who were in the Containment Zone
– students who were in quarantine

As per CBSE, the examination results of the following categories of students, who could not appear in the Term 1 or Term 2 examination, are prepared and declared on the basis of their performance in the term in which they (students) appeared

CBSE had informed the students of both class X and XII after the performance of the term that if they are not satisfied with their marks, they can report the same to CBSE through their schools. All the matters received by CBSE of Class 10 and Class 12 were processed and the following decisions were taken…

Wherever the marks have increased after rechecking, they were used to prepare the final result.
– If the marks have been reduced, then the old i.e. more marks were used in preparing the final result.
These decisions were taken keeping in view the special circumstances in which the Term 1 examination was conducted. All the requests received were considered and decided after which final results were prepared.
