CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Eligibility Requirements for 2023

The bursary program provides students with a monthly stipend of 500 INR. All single female students enrolled in Classes 11 and 12 and earning a minimum of 60 percent on their Class 10 examination and whose monthly tuition does not exceed 1,500 INR are eligible to receive this scholarship. Furthermore, the following are the eligibility requirements:

  • The scholarship will exclusively be granted to citizens of India.
  • The pupil must maintain her academic progress throughout Classes 11 and 12 at the school.
  • Applicants who have successfully completed the CBSE Class 10 examination in 2023 will be taken into account.
  • A scholar participating in the program may, in addition to the scholarship, be eligible for other discounts provided by the institution where she is enrolled or other organizations.

Criteria for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Selection

  • Admission requires a minimum score of 60% on the CBSE-administered Class 10 examination.
  • Request for Renewal: The applicant must have been a CBSE Class 11 student in the preceding academic year and have obtained a Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship. Additionally, they must have achieved a minimum of 50% in Class 11I and been promoted to Class 11 prior to the renewal.
  • Class 11 and 12 enrollment at a CBSE-affiliated institution
  • Female students ought to be the only offspring of their parents.
  • The monthly tuition fee for Class 10 should not exceed Rs 1,500, with a 10% increase permitted for Classes 11 and 12.
  • Every application must undergo verification by the student’s current institution of study. Applications that have not undergone verification will be denied. The application processing facility is made available to the academic institution where the candidate is enrolled.
