Chandrayaan-3 Utsav: The Women’s College at Aligarh Muslim University put on a week’s worth of events to commemorate Chandrayaan-3’s successful arrival at the Moon’s South Pole.
The festivities came to an end with a “Street-Play” (Nukkad-Natak) performed by Women’s College students with the subject matter “India’s Journey to Moon.” The drama featured captivating dialogue and memorable situations. India’s attempts to land on the moon were highlighted in the performance. The scenes showed the ISRO’s efforts during the launches of Chandrayaan-1 and 2, as well as the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3.
The kids were informed by the principal Prof. Naima Khatoon about the remarkable accomplishments of India and the toil of our scientists. She also urged them to do well in school and contribute to the advancement of the country.
Dr. Sadaf Fareed, the program’s coordinator, claimed that our nation had made history with the arrival of Chandrayaan-3 on the south pole of the moon.

The “essay-writing competition” with the topic “New Flight of India” launched Chandrayaan-3 Utsav celebrations on September 15, 2023. Later, the competition’s outcomes would be revealed.
A quiz tournament called “Quiztellation: A Space Quiz” was the second in the series. Dr. Lucky Khan and Dr. Lubna Irfan served as the competition’s judges, and Ms. Juveria Rahman served as the quiz master.
Only six of the eleven teams, each consisting of three participants, advanced to the quiz’s main round.
Pounce and bounce was the system used in the main round. Riya Chaudhary, Bushra Rasheed, and Fareha Rizvi from the BSc. in Statistics were on the winning team after 11 rounds of questions. Team “Cassini,” which included B.Sc. physics students Afifa Jamal and Farah Naaz as well as B.A. psychology student Anusha Munawwar, took second place. Team “Zenith,” which included B.A. history students Deeksha Singh, Unnati Nagar, and BSc. physics student Deeksha Varshney, took third place.
The occasion was overseen by Ms. Amna Asim and Ms. Zunaira Habib Alvi, and Ms. Mariam Hashmi proposed the Vote of Thanks.
