Speech for Children’s Day 2022: Every year on November 14th, the birth anniversary of Pandit Nehru is observed as Children’s Day in India. The 14th of November is dedicated to India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. In fact, Jawaharlal Nehru was very fond of children. On his birthday, he wanted to get lost in the smiles of children. While spending time with them, he transformed into a child himself. Children used to refer to him as Chacha Nehru. Because of Jawaharlal Nehru’s great love and affection for children, his birthday, 14 November, is celebrated every year as Children’s Day. Chacha Nehru used to say that the child plays an important role in the country’s golden development. Children are the country’s future.

On Children’s Day, many competitions such as speech, dance, sports, and debate are held in schools. Children who perform well are rewarded in order to encourage them. On Children’s Day, gifts are also given to children. Here is a ‘Children’s Day Speech’ that will help you win the competition.

Respected Sir, Teachers, and my dear friends
First and foremost, I wish you a Happy Children’s Day. We’ve all gathered here today to celebrate Children’s Day. First and foremost, let me explain why Children’s Day is observed on November 14th. Friends, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the great Indian freedom fighter and India’s first Prime Minister, was born on November 14. Jawaharlal Nehru was a big fan of children. Even children used to refer to him as Chacha Nehru. As a result, every year on November 14, his birth anniversary, Children’s Day is observed in his honour.

‘Today’s children will build tomorrow’s India,’ said Pandit Nehru. Children are the country’s future. As a result, special attention must be paid to their education and well-being. The better we care for children, the stronger our nation will be.

Organizing Children’s Day celebrations emphasises the importance of children in shaping the country’s future. Children are the nation’s most valuable asset, as well as the hope for the future and tomorrow, and they deserve to be loved and cared for.

Following India’s independence, the government implemented numerous programmes aimed at the development of children, including education and health care. Even today, however, many children are denied their rights. Children’s Day will not be fully realised until every child in our country has access to his or her fundamental child rights. Child labour and exploitation must be completely eliminated. No child should be denied an education because of financial constraints. All child welfare schemes should provide benefits to children. On the occasion of Children’s Day, we should all work together to raise awareness about children’s rights.

Thank you so much for taking the time to hear my thoughts on Children’s Day and Chacha Nehru. Mother India will live forever. Thank you.
