CLAT 2023: CNLU releases Sample Papers on consortiumofnlus.ac.in

CLAT 2023: The application period for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 will be open until November 13, 2022. Candidates who have not yet applied can do so by visiting the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates who have completed the registration and fee payment process, on the other hand, can download the CLAT 2023 sample paper from CNLU. The third sample paper from CNLU has been released.

CLAT 2023 sample paper will assist them in understanding the exam format and adequately preparing for the exam in order to score well. Candidates who practise with CLAT will be able to learn more about the exam format and perform well on it. On December 18, the Consortium of National Law Universities will administer the CLAT 2023 exam. The entrance examination will be conducted on paper and will last two hours (120 minutes).

The CLAT UG 2023 exam will have 150 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. 0.25 points will be deducted from the final score for each incorrect response. CLAT PG’s UG paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions.

The consortium of NLUs will administer the CLAT exam for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) law programmes at 22 NLUs across the country. The NLU consortium had already made the two sample paper sets available on its website. The third sample paper set will be available in November 2022.

This is the pattern of the question paper for the UG CLAT 2023.

The UG CLAT 2023 question paper will contain 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the following subjects: English Language, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. Candidates will receive one point (+1) for each correct answer and 0.25 point deducted for each incorrect answer. The weightage of expected questions from each subject in the UG question paper has also been released by the NLU Consortium.

– There will be 28-32 English language questions.

35-39 questions from current events and general knowledge will be asked.
35-39 legal reasoning questions will be asked.
– Logical Reasoning: There will be 28-32 questions.
– Quantitative Techniques questions 13-17 will be asked.

The CLAT PG question paper will consist of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that candidates must answer in 2 hours (120 minutes). Candidates will receive one point (+1) for each correct answer, while 0.25 points will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Constitutional Law, Other Areas of Law such as Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Contract Law, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, Labor and Industrial Questions of Law will be covered in the PG CLAT Exam Syllabus.
