VISAKHAPATNAM: On Tuesday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will dedicate buildings worth about Rs. 1000 crore. In addition to a few GVMC projects, he would also lay the cornerstone for the first Inobrit Mall in AP and a few development projects at Andhra University. Due to a number of factors, his interaction with over 2000 kids was cancelled. But at the Element, the AU’s Pharma Incubation Centre, he would welcome the students. Conversations with party officials were also postponed.

The Chief Minister will lay the cornerstone for the Rs. 600 crores Raheja Group circular mall, which will be built on 17 acres of Visakhapatnam Port Trust land. The Raheja company had already given the Port a lease payment of more than Rs. 100 crores. In 13 acres, a mall of 6 lakh square feet (SFT) would be built, along with a hotel and an information technology tower.

At 11.15 am, CM would lay the cornerstone for the mall after arriving at the Vizag airport at 10.45 am. He would lay the cornerstone for 50 GVMC projects totaling Rs. 138 crore, including Vizag’s main junctions and drinking water projects costing Rs. 16 crore and Rs. 106 crore, respectively, under the Amruth programme. He would dedicate five construction projects, including the AU School of International Business, the AU Avanti Aqua Culture Innovation Skill Hub, the Element Pharma Incubation and Bio Monitoring Hub, the Tech Startup Incubation Centre I-Hub, and the Au Digital Zone and smart classroom complex Algorithm.
