Code Gladiators 2023: IIT Delhi graduate Jatin Yadav emerges as the Champion

Code Gladiators 2023: TechGig concluded the tenth iteration of Code Gladiators, its annual premier coding competition. The championship lasted 121 days, and the victors and prizes worth INR 50 lakh were recently announced in an on-site grand finale held in Bengaluru.

Jatin Yadav, a graduate of IIT Delhi, defeated former champions and 315,000 other talented programmers to win the 2023 TechGig Code Gladiators championship and take home the prize money of INR 3.5 lakh. This is the second year in a row that an IITian has emerged as the victor. Kalash Gupta, the 2022 champion, was also an IIT Delhi graduate

Code Gladiators 2023 featured one open codeathon and two theme hackathons, including the Github Copilot Hackathon sponsored by Microsoft and the Machine Learning Hackathon powered by Doceree. The official location and recruitment partner for Code Gladiators 2023 was Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Top industry leaders and Bengaluru-based participants attended the event to take part in panel discussions, roundtables, and fireside chats at the HPE Bengaluru campus, where the gala finale and prize-giving ceremony took place.

TechGig partnered with fourteen corporations, coding communities, and three tech influencers for this year’s Code Gladiators. Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft, Doceree, Infogain, Allstate, Indiamart, Colruyt Group, and Harris are a few of the most well-known technology companies on the list.

Sanjay Goyal, Business Head of TechGig, thanked all the partners and congratulated the victors, stating, “Technology companies have always supported TechGig’s vision to foster innovation and unite the brightest coders and tech enthusiasts on a single platform. This year’s champion also hails from IIT, demonstrating the popularity of Code Gladiators among computing prodigies from India’s premier institutions. Two foreign nationals made the list of champions, which is further evidence of TechGig Code Gladiators’ global reach to attract coding talent each year.

TechGig, the largest online community of software developers and IT professionals in India, hosts an annual coding competition known as Code Gladiators. It has been certified by both the Limca Book of World Records and the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest coding competition in India. The competition attracts the brightest and most talented programmers from all over India and is a wonderful platform for aspiring programmers to demonstrate their skills and abilities.

With multiple sponsored hackathons in emerging technologies and a difficult coding contest, the competition attracts techies from around the world. This was the tenth edition of TechGig Code Gladiators, in which participants from over eighty countries other than India competed for the most coveted title.
