CRPF Head Constable Bharti: The Delhi High Court on Friday ordered the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to grant a three-year age relaxation to candidates taking the examination for the recruitment of head constables. Two petitions filed by prospective candidates were heard by a bench of Justices Suresh Kumar Kait and Nina Bansal Krishna. Directions to the respondent authorities for relaxation of the upper age limit have been sought in these petitions. On December 27, 2022, an advertisement for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the CRPF-2022 was published. The deadline for applying for this position is January 25.

The court noted that the deadline for applying for the said post is January 25, and in light of this, it orders the respondents (CRPF and the Central Government) to issue a corrigendum on or before January 25, allowing three years of age relaxation as a one-time measure.
