CBSE CTET 2022 : CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET – Central Teacher Eligibility Test) December 2022 exam will be computer based and it will be held in December 2022. Here will be the 16th edition of CTET. CBSE has given this update by issuing a short notification on its CTET website ctet.nic.in. Aspirants aspiring to become teachers were waiting for the announcement of CTET exam for the last many days. In such a situation, CBSE has given them this update.

1- Candidates should note that the detailed notification (detailed bulletin) of CTET December 2022 has not been issued yet. Nor has the application started. CBSE will release its detailed notification soon. Details of CTET exam pattern, language, syllabus, eligibility conditions, exam city and important dates will be given in the notification. Only after that the application process will start.

2- CTET will be conducted in the month of December in CBT mode in 20 languages.

3. The information released by CBSE states that the application fee for CTET December 2022 examination is Rs 1000 for Paper 1 or Paper 2 for General and OBC category respectively and Rs 1200 for filling both the papers combined. For SC, ST and Divyang category, it is Rs 500 for Paper 1 or Paper 2 and Rs 600 for both the papers.

4. CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice every year. The first exam is conducted in the month of July and second in the month of December. Successful candidates who appear in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for class 1 to class 5. Whereas successful candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for class 6th to 8th.

5. Candidates who clear this exam can apply for appointment to the post of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Army Schools across the country. The recognition of CTET has now been made for life instead of seven years.
