CUET 2022: Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said Any Challenge Will Be Resolved At Earliest

CUET 2022: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday said that the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a step in the right direction and any remaining challenges regarding the examination will be resolved at the earliest. Pradhan’s remarks came to the fore on the first day of the first edition of CUET exam. Many complaints have also come to the fore regarding this second biggest entrance exam of India, which includes changing the exam center at the last minute, long question paper, subject related to movement.

The Education Minister said, “CUET is a step towards quality and standardization, any remaining challenge in the examination will be resolved at the earliest.”

Many candidates could not appear in the exam due to the change in the exam center. The National Testing Agency (NTA) said that they will get a chance to take the exam in the next phase which will be held in August.

CUET 2022: CUET exam center changed 24 hours ago, students in trouble

University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had announced in March that CUET marks and not class 12th marks would be required for admission to 45 central universities. Central Universities may fix minimum eligibility criteria.

He had also made it clear that the students of the state board would not be harmed by the new system.

Around 14.9 lakh students have registered for CUET. A total of 44 centers to participate in the first edition of CUET UG for admission in the academic session 2022-23
