CUET UG 2023 to continue till June 17: According to officials, the Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET-UG) will continue until June 17 with over 65,000 candidates yet to take the exam. Previously, the CUET UG 2023 was scheduled for May 21 to May 31, which was extended to June 7; this is the second extension of the UG admission entrance exam.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently uploaded the CUET 2023 admit cards for examinations on June 9 through June 11. In due time, the agency will declare the dates for subsequent examination rounds. The results should be announced next month, in July.
The majority of the CUET 2023 examinations will be administered in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Jharkhand until June 17. The results are expected within 15 days of the conclusion of the assessments.
“According to the original schedule, the results were to be announced around June 20; they will now likely be released during the first week of July,” a senior official explained.
This year, over 14 lakh candidates have registered for the CUET UG, a 41 percent increase from its inaugural year.
The CUET-UG exam is the second-largest entrance examination in India in terms of applicant pool size. In its first edition, 12,500,000 student registrations were received, and 9,900,000 applications were submitted.
There are students from other states and union territories, but Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand make up the plurality of those awaiting exam dates. Approximately 75% of the CUET UG 2023 have attended classes thus far.
