For the purpose of educating participants on the dangers of oral cancer and the significance of preventative dental care, pamphlets were distributed.

Dental Camp Organized: In an effort to combat tobacco dependence and promote oral health, the Department of Periodontia & Community Dentistry at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised a dental camp at the Pradeshik Armed Police (PAC) in Aligarh.

The primary focus of the dental camp was to raise awareness about anti-tobacco initiatives while providing essential oral healthcare services to the PAC battalion members. A comprehensive oral examination was performed, with a focus on identifying individuals contending with nicotine addiction. They were offered Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) in the guise of “Nobacco” products to help them quit smoking and adopt healthier lifestyles.
