In compliance with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) under the Government of India, the Department of Economics at Aligarh Muslim University recently marked the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week-2023. Prof. Rizvi emphasized the importance of taking the integrity pledge, stressing that it fosters a sense of responsibility and encourages individuals to become disciplined and honest citizens. He underscored the necessity of eradicating corruption as a preliminary step towards economic development, as corrupt practices can deplete productive and financial resources, hindering progress.
