Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav: On December 1, the Department of Linguistics at Aligarh Muslim University celebrated the Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav, a celebration of the linguistic variety of India. The poster display that opened the event showcased the diverse linguistic fabric of the country.

The department’s chairman, Professor M. J. Warsi, encouraged the audience to be proud of their mother tongues and emphasised the need of protecting and advancing indigenous languages.

Twelve-week Entrepreneurship Workshop begins at AMU

Participating in the event were research scholars, students, and faculty members, and it was hosted in the department’s IT lab. In addition to offering a venue for thought-provoking conversations, it reaffirmed the dedication to preserving and honouring India’s linguistic legacy.
