DPS RK Puram celebrated its Golden Jubilee this year on August 21 with different cultural performances. The celebration witnessed various song and dance programs, but the highlight of the celebration was Krishna Leela performed by the students of the school.
The celebration commenced with the inaugural lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, BK Chaturvedi, the Principal, Padma Srinivasan and the Vice Principals, Naresh Miglani, Anil Kathuria, and Mukesh Kumar, followed by Maitri Bhajan. Next was the orchestra performance by the students. Later, school Anthem was sung and a celebratory dance was performed by the students of the junior schools.
The Principal Ms Padma Srinivasan in her address welcomed the guests and emphasized the essence of leadership showcased by the former Principals and Staff to create and build this institution from its humble beginnings.
What followed next was the Krishna Leela performance by students where Lord Krishna’s live was presented starting from his adventures in Gokul as a child. The whole performance lasted about 40 mins with audio visual effects that overall added an appeal in the performance.
