Eid Milad-Un-Nabi programme: The Aligarh Muslim University will host the customary remembrance event of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi at the Kennedy Hall on September 28 at 11 am to honour the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).
In addition to students reciting Naat, lectures on various facets of the life of the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) will be given by Maulana Nazim Ali Khairabadi, rector of Jamia Haidriya, Khairabad, and Maulana Mufti Mohammad Salman Bijnori, vice president of Jamiatul Ulema Hind and senior teacher at Darul Uloom Deoband.
He has invited the university students to show up in huge numbers for the programme.
On September 28 and 29, 2023, to commemorate the Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi, the holy Prophet’s birth anniversary, a two-day exhibition of books, manuscripts, and artefacts related to the life of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) will be held in the Central Hall of the Maulana Azad Library at Aligarh Muslim University.

University Librarian Prof. Nishat Fatima announced that the Maulana Azad Library’s exhibition, which will feature more than a thousand books on Seerah (the biography of Prophet Muhammad SAW) written in various languages, rare and lost copies of the Holy Quran, and examples of Quranic calligraphy, including a copy scrawled by Hazrat Ali, the fourth caliph of Islam, will be on display.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohammad Gulrez, will open the exhibition on September 28 at 10:30 am, and it will finish on September 29 at 11 am, she noted.
