Former MLA Rajesh Mishra appearing for UP Board 12th exam drawing attention of students

Former MLA Rajesh Mishra, alias Pappu Bharatol, of Bithri Chainpur in Bareilly district, is sitting for his 12th exam.

UP Board 12th Exam 2023: During the 12th examination held by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, a middle-aged candidate from the Bareilly district with a laminated admit card in one hand and a water bottle and writing pad in the other has become the centre of attention among students. His appeal stemmed from the fact that he was a former MLA for the district, and as a candidate at this age, there was a sense of wonder, curiosity, and appreciation.

Former MLA Rajesh Mishra, alias Pappu Bharatol, of Bithri Chainpur in Bareilly district, is sitting for his 12th exam.

When he arrived at the examination centre on February 16 to take the exam, it appeared that age did not matter. The students who took the exam together were initially surprised and then delighted. “When I came to take the exam, the students were surprised to see me, but they were happy to see that a politician from their area was appearing with them,” the 51-year-old former MLA said. In the 2017 assembly elections, he was given a ticket by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and won the Bithri Chainpur constituency in Bareilly. However, he was denied a party ticket for the assembly elections last year. Mishra decided to continue his education despite his hectic schedule as a politician.

“I thought I should start preparing for the Class 12 board exams,” said former MLA Rajesh Mishra. It will help him connect better with his young voters, and he has set a lofty goal with it. “As a public representative, I have realised that justice is denied to a large number of economically weaker sections because they cannot afford the expenses of lawyers,” said the former MLA, known as Pappu Bharatol in the area. “I want to help such people,” he said, “and to do that, I want to become a lawyer.” “Now I will continue my studies, which is why I chose the arts stream even though I was interested in the science stream,” he said. For the board exams, I’ve chosen Hindi, Fine Arts, Social Studies, Civics, and Sociology. These subjects will also help me with my law studies.” As a scientist, his only complaint about arts subjects is that he has to write a lot. Mishra, a father of three grown children, stated, “I study from 11 p.m., and I also get time to concentrate on studies during the day.” Similarly, Mishra is receiving full support from his family, and his children are advising him. “My children keep offering to help me with my studies and also give me tips on how to do better in exams and deal with exam stress,” Mishra said, smiling. Mishra is confident he will pass the exam. Will do it, and will combine his studies with political activism. “I focus on my studies without worrying about anything,” Mishra said. I say the same thing to young students. Working with focus is the only way to achieve life success.
