FT MiM Rankings 2023: In the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking of Global Business Schools 2023, Indian business schools have secured the top spots for salary outcomes three years after graduation.

With a weighted salary of $137,918, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad topped the list. Following closely at $137,185 are the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, the SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), and the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. Interestingly, the top-ranked business school in the world, HEC Paris in Europe, was ranked fifth with a weighted salary of $129,806.

The two-year, full-time postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) programme at SPJIMR is ranked 40th worldwide and first among India’s management institutes. This is the fourth year in a row that SPJIMR has been ranked among the top 50 business schools in the globe.

This is the fourth consecutive year that SPJIMR has been ranked among the top 50 business schools in the globe. In addition, the institution ranked first among Indian management institutes, with the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad coming in at 43rd.

Eleven Indian institutions, including IIM Calcutta (ranked 60th) and IIM Lucknow (ranked 72nd), have been included in the FT Masters in Management rankings for 2023. The highest ranks are dominated by European institutions from France, Spain, and Italy, among others.

The FT MiM rankings take into account programmes offered by institutions with AACSB or EQUIS accreditation that are designed for participants with minimal or no work experience.

The ranking criteria are divided into distinct categories, such as alumni career advancement, school diversity, and international research and experience.

With a 55% weighting, alumni career progression focuses on post-program alumni success.

School diversity evaluates the institution’s inclusiveness and diversity and carries a 22 percent weighting.

A 23 percent weighting on international experience and research highlights global exposure and research contributions.

SPJIMR also achieved an eighth-place global ranking in the careers service criterion, highlighting its efficacy in supporting student placements and providing graduates with extraordinary career opportunities.

The institute has been rated 32nd in the alumni network, 78th in the carbon footprint rank, 24th in ESG and net zero teaching rank and in international work mobility and internship it has been ranked 89th and 100 per cent respectively.
