GATE 2023: Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has started the application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) exam from August 30.
As per the exam schedule, the last date to apply for GATE 2023 without late fee is 30 September and for late fee applicants the last date is 7 October.

GATE 2023 exam date

The GATE exam will be conducted next year on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. You can visit the official website gate.iitk.ac.in to see the complete timetable of the exam. At the same time, the notification of the exam can be released in the month of August. The answer key of the examination is on February 21 and the date for filing objection is February 22 to 25. The result of the exam is March 16 and the date of download of the scorecard is March 22.

This year, the exam will be jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. Candidates who want to appear for the exam can apply for the exam by following these simple steps given below.

Step 1- First visit the official website gate.iitk.ac.in. Go to

Step 2- Click on the link “GATE 2023 registration”.

Step 3- Enter the login details and click on submit.

Step 4- Fill the application form and pay the application fee.

Step 5- Once done, click on submit.

Step 6- Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Let us tell you, GATE 2023 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted in 29 subject areas with the option of selecting two papers in certain subjects. The exam will test a comprehensive understanding of various graduate subjects in Engineering, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences.
