GATE 2024: IISc, Bengaluru has rescheduled the registration deadline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. The application procedure is currently anticipated to begin around August 30, 2023.

Originally scheduled to begin on August 24, 2023, the GATE 2024 registration charge will be Rs 1,800 for candidates in the general category and Rs 900 for candidates in the reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD). The cost for late registration is Rs 2,300, while the fee for SC/ST/PwD is Rs 1,400.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, or the Humanities to be eligible for GATE 2024. Registration involves navigating to gate2024.iisc.ac.in, selecting on the GATE application link, entering personal and academic information, uploading required documents, and paying the application fee. Candidates should save the registration form to their desktop or laptop for future reference upon submission.
A novel paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence has been published this year. Probability and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Calculus and Optimisation, Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management and Warehousing, and Machine Learning are among the topics covered in this paper.
According to IISc, GATE 2024 admit cards will be available for distribution on January 13 for the exam in February. Following the examination, the provisional answer key will be distributed on February 21, and the final result and scorecard are anticipated on March 16.
The GATE application procedure permits certain changes or modifications, each of which incurs a separate fee. These modifications include alterations to the candidate’s name, date of birth, examination city preference, or the selected paper. For each of these modifications, a fee of Rs 500 is required.
In addition to the application fee for the additional paper, a fee of Rs 500 is required if a candidate wishes to add a second paper, selecting from the provided options related to their primary paper.
