GATE 2024 registration: Tomorrow, August 24, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru will begin accepting online applications for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2024. Here you can view the eligibility requirements, key dates, and registration information.

GATE 2024 will be administered by the IISc in Bengaluru. The test registration period will be from August 24 to September 29, 2023. The extended registration period will conclude on October 13, 2023. The GATE 2024 examination will be administered on the 3, 4, 10, and 11 of February 2023. The exam admit card will be distributed on January 3, 2023.

Qualifications in Education

GATE 2024 is open to candidates who are presently enrolled in the third year or higher of any undergraduate degree programme or who have completed any government-approved degree programme in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities.

3. Register and complete the application form.
4. Upload required documentation and pay the registration fee.

Required Documents for GATE 2024 registration

• Photograph of the candidate
• Signature of the candidate
• Scanned copy of the category, if applicable
• Scanned copy of disabled person’s certificate, if applicable
• Scanned copy of valid photo identification document: Aadhar-UID (preferred)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving Licence.
• Scanned copy of certificate of dyslexia, if applicable.

Application Fee

(i) Regular Period: All applicants, including foreign nationals, must pay a Rs. 1800 application fee. The application fee for female candidates/ SC/ ST/ persons with disabilities is Rs. 900.

(ii) Extended Period: All applicants, including foreign nationals, must pay a Rs. 2300 application fee. The application fee for women/ SC/ ST/ persons with disabilities is Rs. 1,400.
