GATE 2024 registration: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru is anticipated to begin GATE 2024 registration today, August 30, 2023, according to reports from NEW DELHI. Originally, the event was scheduled to begin on August 24, but the date was altered to today. Applicants who desire to register for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 will be able to do so on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

The application portal for GATE 2024 is expected to open on August 30, 2023, according to the GATE 2024 website.

According to the provisional schedule released for the GATE examination in 2024, the deadline for online applications without late fees is September 29, and the deadline for extended online registration/application with a late fee is October 13.

Between November 7 and November 11, 2023, candidates will be able to make changes to their GATE application form 2024. The GATE 2024 admit card will be distributed on January 3, 2024, and the examinations will be held on February 3, 4, and 10, 11 2024.

GATE 2024 Qualification Standards

Applicants who are in their third or final year of an undergraduate degree programme or who have graduated from a government-approved degree programme in disciplines such as engineering, technology, science, architecture, or the humanities are eligible to take the entrance examination.

Application Fee

(i) Regular Period: The application fee for female candidates/ SC/ ST/ PwD is Rs 900, while the application fee for all other applicants, including foreign nationals, is Rs 1800.

(ii) Extended Period: The application charge for female candidates/ SC/ ST/ PwD is Rs 1400, while the application fee for all other candidates, including foreign nationals, is Rs 2300.

Note: The application fees listed above are for a singular exam. Those opting to take two exams would be required to pay double the fees listed above.
