GEO Genius Scholarship Eligibility Requirements for 2023

The following are the eligibility requirements for the Geo Genius Scholarship 2023.

Students in classes 2 through 12 from schools accredited by the State, ICSE, CBSE, or International board.

The students are separated into three main groups:

GEO Genius Scholarship Application for 2023

The institution will make the application form for the GEO Genius Scholarship 2023 available. Students must submit the application form exclusively through their school. The government will not take applications submitted directly by students. The entire application procedure is detailed below:

  • To obtain an application form, candidates must contact the school’s administration.
  • The school administration will then distribute the application to the students.
  • Candidates must provide their comprehensive educational, personal, and contact information on the application form.
  • The information provided on the application must be accurate. If not, the application form could be rejected.
  • In addition to the application form, applicants must also submit the required application fee.
  • The institution will then submit application documents on behalf of all applicants.
  • Please note that the schools must also submit the registration sheet for students. This document should contain the following details:

  3. Section
  4. Preparatory Hand Book Required or not

Exam Fees:

  • Rs. 300/- per student for offline mode, Rs. 310/- per student for online mode
  • Preparatory Textbook: Rs. 110 plus Rs. 80 for shipping and handling.

Mode of settlement

  • The school should pay the application fee on behalf of the students.
  • The required payment method is a Demand Draft. The check should be made payable to “IBGB Learning Society” and made payable in Kota, Rajasthan.

Geo Genius Scholarship Exam Format 2023

The Geo Genius Scholarship Examination 2023 consists of three levels, namely levels 1, 2, and 3. The level 1 course will be taught at the institution. Those who pass the level 1 examination will be invited to the Kota-based level 2 examination.

The candidates will be divided into the following three categories for this examination:

  • Class 2nd to 4th: Sub-Junior Category
  • Class 5th to 7th: Junior Category
  • Class 8th to 10th: Senior Category

Examination at Level 1

  • Only multiple-choice questions at the level 1 level will be answered.
  • There will be forty questions for the Sub-junior category.
  • Junior and senior categories will each be tested with 50 questions.

Pattern at Level 2

  • Those who pass the level 1 test will be invited to sit the level 2 test.
  • The level 2 examination will be administered online and will consist of both multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
  • There will be forty questions for the Sub-junior category.

  • The top 15 candidates in each level 2 category will be permitted to take the level 3 exam.

Level 3 Structure

GEO Genius Scholarship 2023 Awards

Level 1

The ‘Certificate of Participation’ will be awarded to all students who participate.

Level 2

The ‘Medal of Achievement’ and ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ will be presented to 5% of the meritorious students from each category who pass Level 2 and are qualified for the medal.

Level 3

Five winners in each category will receive awards consisting of one gold medal, one silver medal, and three bronze medals, a certificate of merit, and a cash incentive of Rs. 11,000 for the first place winner and Rs.5,000 for the second, third, fourth, and fifth place winners in each of the three categories.

The remaining ten contestants across all three categories will receive a Certificate of Recognition and a cash prize of Rs. 1100.

The four Senior Category champions will represent India at the International Geography Olympiad.
