In addition, IP University has issued guidelines for the Management Quota admissions process in its self-financing affiliated institutes. Approximately 10% of seats in approximately 90 affiliated institutions are reserved. The guidelines seek to ensure that admissions under the Management Quota are transparent.

According to the guidelines, affiliated institutes must publish admission notices for Management Quota seats in at least two prominent Hindi and English newspapers. Additionally, the notice should be posted on the institute’s website and bulletin board, and a copy should be sent to the university for uploading on its website. The notification of admission must be issued by July 5th.
The distribution of admission forms for Management Quota seats should allow candidates 18 days to obtain and submit the forms, with the submission deadline falling on July 31st. The admissions procedure for Management Quota seats must be completed between the 1st and 9th of August via transparent counselling based on the merit of the most recent qualifying examination.

Self-financing affiliated institutions must prioritise admissions based on the merit of the most recent qualifying examinations listed in the university’s Admissions Brochure. Priority should be given to candidates who have passed the CET/CUET/National Level Test, and if CET-qualified candidates are available, CUET-qualified candidates should not be considered for admittance under the Management Quota.
