“A review meeting was conducted, and the issue will be resolved. There will be reservations for PG courses at GMC,” Sawant said. “There was confusion between the GMC and the department of social welfare as to who would issue the notification. It will be made available on Monday.” He stated that individuals will soon be able to schedule OPD appointments online.
Sawant also responded to inquiries on a variety of other subjects. In response to queries about law enforcement, he stated that he will instruct Goa police on Saturday to crack down on illegal gambling, including matka. He was assuaging Pritam Harmalkar’s concerns, who stated that matka gambling on the streets of Ponda needed to be curtailed.
