Gujarat Paper leak: Panchayat Junior Clerk exam canceled

The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board’s Junior Clerk recruitment examination, scheduled for today, January 29, 2023, has been cancelled due to a paper leak.

According to the information received, the Vadodara police received a copy of the paper late at night from a youth. The adolescent has been arrested. The exam was scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. today. All candidates have been advised not to attend the examination centres. Because of the cancellation of the Gish paper, it is unclear when the re-examination will be held. The hard work of over nine lakh 53 thousand candidates has gone to waste.

The exam was scheduled to take place between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Candidates for this exam had to arrive at the exam centre at 9:30 a.m. This exam had received 9 lakh 53 thousand 723 applications. For the examination to be conducted safely, arrangements were made for approximately 7,000 police officers to be present.
