IGNOU launches MA program in Environmental Studies, know how to apply

IGNOU Admission 2023: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is now offering Master of Arts degree in Environmental Studies (MAEVS). Candidates who are interested can apply through the official website ignou.ac.in. Let’s know about the course.

This course of Environmental Studies will be of two years. Candidates who complete the allotted course for their first year will be eligible to get Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies.

The objective of this course is to prepare the learners to recognize their role in environmental protection and to teach them about contemporary issues and environmental challenges.

Who can apply

Candidates who have graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Please tell, the medium of instruction will be English.

How to apply for the course

Step 1- First of all go to the official website ignou.ac.in.

Step 2- On the home page, click on the ‘Register Online’ tab appearing below the ‘Fresh Admission’ link.

Step 3- Now fill the details asked in the application form and your personal educational qualification.

Step 4- Select the mode of receiving the study material.

Step 5- Upload the required documents and submit them.

Step 6- Download the form and take a printout for further use.

Application fee

Students will have to pay an application fee of Rs 6,000 per year i.e. for two years they will have to pay Rs 12,000.
