Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2022: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has been adjudged the best business school in India in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2022.
The premier institute announced this on Monday. While IIMB was ranked 47th globally in the last year i.e. 2021, it is at number 31 this year. This year has seen an increase in the performance of IIMB. On the other hand, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai and IIM Lucknow have also been placed at number 44 and 64 in the list.
Professor Hrishikesh T Krishnan, Director, IIMB said, “IIMB’s leadership position in these rankings plays a role in enhancing the visibility and prestige of the school.” The IIM, which has a 2-year regular course (MBA) in management, has topped the FT MiM rankings in India this year, the statement said.
It is further stated that it has been ranked highest on parameters such as value for money, women on the board of the institute, faculty with doctorates, international course experience and salary weighted in US dollars.
When the announcement is made, the increment will be considered from January 1, 2026
