IIM Raipur training programme update: In an effort to contribute to the promotion of excellence and the development of existing and future leaders, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, in collaboration with PRS Legislative Research on Management for secretariat staff, organised a three-day training programme from July 18 to 20 for Vidhan Sabha secretariat staff from across India.
In the fourth cohort of the training programme, 26 participants from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh participated.
During the opening ceremony, IIM Raipur director Professor Ram Kumar Kakani imparted his valuable insights and programme vision. Professor Rashmi Shukla, director of the programme, led sessions on time management and team development, among others.
Chakshu Roy and his PRS team led sessions on, among other topics, budget comprehension, effective support for legislators, and best practises for state legislators. Professor Kamal K. Jain, Mentor Dean, provided insightful remarks during the program’s closing ceremony. Participants find the programme to be highly interactive and useful for exchanging information, thereby creating a community that can continue to learn from one another in the future.
