LUCKNOW: Management hopefuls no longer have to wait to take the Common Admission Test in 2023. The registration period for CAT 2023 will open on August 2 according to the announcement published on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, on Sunday. CAT 2023 will be at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow this time.
Prof. Sanjeet Singh, chair of admissions at the IIML, is the CAT 2023 convener. The deadline for CAT 2023 registration is September 13. There will be about 155 cities where CAT 2023 will be held. Six optional cities will be available for candidates to select. The CAT Centre will make every effort to make sure an applicant receives one of the preferable choices.
Registration Criteria for CAT 2023
Candidates will only be able to make modifications to their photo, signature, and test city options after the registration window has closed. Only applicants who successfully registered for CAT 2023 within the allotted time and paid the necessary registration can make adjustments.
The 120-minute CAT 2023 will be computer-based. The following three sections will be on the test: Section I tests reading comprehension and verbal ability, Section II tests logical reasoning and data interpretation, and Section III tests quantitative ability. Candidates will have exactly 40 minutes to complete each section’s questions.
The CAT chairperson advised test-takers to register well in advance in order to avoid last-minute rushes and to enjoy a hassle-free registration procedure.
Candidates for the CAT exam must have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in any stream. Students in their final year of study may also apply.

1: Go to iimcat.ac.in to access the official CAT website.
2: Select the “Registration for CAT 2023” link.
3: Register a new account by entering your mobile number and email address.
4: Complete the registration form by entering the necessary personal and academic information.
5: From the list of alternatives, select the test cities you desire.
6: To finish the process, pay the registration fee online using one of the accepted payment methods.
