IIT Madras Placement 2022: These 25 students got an offer of 1 crore salary package annually

IIT Madras Placements 2022: On December 1, 2022, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras began its placement drive for the year 2022. On the first day of placements, 25 students were offered jobs with annual salaries exceeding one crore rupees. On the first day, a total of 445 offers were made to students.

Let us tell you that the institute received nearly 10% more total offers at the end of session 1.1 this year. In 2021-22, the placement figure was 407. Today, students received 15 international job offers from four different companies.

According to the institute’s official statement, a total of 1,722 students have registered for placements in various study streams this academic year. There are 331 registered companies for Phase I placements, and they will recruit to fill 722 positions.

Microsoft, Graviton, Flipkart, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Bain & Co, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group, JP Morgan Chase & Co, P&G, Optiver, Morgan Stanley, and McKinsey are among the top recruiters this year.

ONGC and the Center for Development of Telematics are two public-sector organisations that are recruiting during the first phase (CDoT).

Akshit, a Computer Science and Engineering student, has received international offers for software engineering roles worth more than Rs 1 crore. “I am very happy to have received this dream offer,” she said of her placement experience.
