IIT Patna Placement Salary Packages: BTech students getting huge salary offers from Flipkart, Uber

IIT Placement and Salary Packages: Companies are looting lakhs of meritorious students even before the completion of the BTech batch that will pass in the session 2022-23 at IIT Patna. This session saw a tremendous increase of 74 per cent in the number of Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) in the institute as compared to the 2021-2022 batch. There has also been an increase of 16.70 percent in the case of average pay package. The maximum pay package so far this season has been Rs 82.05 lakh. On an average, students had received offers worth around Rs 24 lakh under pre placement offers in the last session. At the same time, this year the average offer has increased to Rs 28.50 lakh. Multinational companies are giving pre placement offers to these students on the basis of summer internship.

61 students have received PPO from 22 companies So far this session, 61 students have received preplacement offers from 22 companies for different job profiles. These include nine offers for Google, SWE interns, 10 offers at Samsung and 6 offers at Service Now among the top recruiters. Twilio and Adobe are also on the list, along with four PPOs for software interns. Amazon, the leading company in the field of e-commerce, has also given four PPO offers to students. Summer internships usually last two to three months.

Atlassian, Uber, Flipkart, Indiad, SMS Datatech, Arista Networks, American Express, Publicis Sapient, Perceptive Analytics, Accenture India, Bloomberg and DirectI are among the companies that have offered pre-placement offers to students. In the last session, 154 companies from India and abroad had provided 412 job offers in IIT Patna.
