Investiture ceremony held at ABK High School (Boys)

Master Saurav Singh and Master Mohd Saad Aslam were made the House Captains of the Green House while Master Prince Atri and Talha Abdullah were declared Vice-Captains of the House.

Abdul Rihan was selected as the Head Boy during the investiture ceremony at the ABK High School (Boys), Aligarh Muslim University, while Master Gulam Ghaus Khan and Master Mohd Ali, respectively from the senior and primary sections, were selected as the House Captains while Master Mohd Adnan Khan and Master Aashwick Singh were selected as the Vice-Captains of Blue House.

Mohd Faheem and Shadab Malik were made the House Captains of the Red House, and Monib Akhtar and Mohd Uzaifa as Vice Captains, while Ritesh Gupta and Momin Mustafa were made the House Captains, and Arham Usmani and Mohd Yusuf as the Vice- Captains of Yellow House.

In the Senior Section, Mr. Imran, Mr. Muneer Ahmad, Dr. Mohd Raza Abbas and Mr. Haider Ali were respectively made the House Incharges of Blue, Green, Red and Yellow Houses, while Mrs. Lakshmi Tureha, Mrs. Fouzia Khan, Mrs. Hina Khan and Mrs. Huma Anwar were declared the House Incharges of Blue, Green, Red and Yellow houses in the Primary Section.

In his address, the chief guest, Shri Kushi Ram, Principal, KVS, Aligarh, said that sports are very important in our lives and we should work hard to make our country progressive.

The guest of honour, Prof. Asfar Ali Khan, Director, Directorate of School Education, AMU congratulated the council members and urged them to perform their duties with diligence.

Mr. Faisal Nafis, Principal, STS School, appreciated the hard work of the school administration in organizing the programme.

Mr. Suresh Chandra, KVS, Aligarh, also graced the programme as a guest of honoour.

Earlier, Principal, Dr. Samina, welcomed the guests and urged the students to showcase their talent and develop leadership skills in them by participating in different activities at school level.

Mrs. Ghausia Iqbal, the Cultural Coordinator, conducted the programme, while Mrs. Farah Najm extended a vote of thanks.

A friendly inter-house hockey match was also played to mark the national sports day, the birth anniversary of the hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand.

Several other games and activities, including the Rakhi Making Competition was organized on the occasion.

Sports Coordinators, Mr. Rais Ahmad and Ms. Nida Usmani played a key role in organizing the programme, and Mr. Rais Ahmad also administered the oath to the newly elected student council members.
