JoSAA Counselling 2023: Registration, choice filling closes today

To be eligible for JoSAA Counselling 2023, candidates must have passed either the JEE Main or JEE Advanced examinations in 2023.

JoSAA Counselling 2023: As of today, June 28, 2023, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is approaching the end of the registration and choice-filling process for Counselling. Candidates who are qualified but have not yet registered are exhorted to fill out the form on the JoSAA website, josaa.nic.in. At 5 p.m. today, the system will automatically seal candidates’ selected options.

To be eligible for JoSAA Counselling 2023, candidates must have passed either the JEE Main or JEE Advanced examinations in 2023. The objective of the counselling procedure is to facilitate admissions to BTech/BArch programmes at prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs.

The first round of JoSAA Counselling 2023 seat allocation is scheduled to be released on June 30, 2023. The 5th of July, 2023, is the deadline for candidates who are awarded seats in this round to pay their fees and submit their applications. Those who do not receive seats in the initial round will have the opportunity to partake in subsequent rounds.

The final round of seat allotment for JoSAA Counselling 2023 will be released on July 28, 2023, so it is imperative that candidates remain up-to-date on the counselling process.

To ensure a smooth and successful counselling procedure for admission to their desired BTech/BArch courses, applicants are advised to strictly adhere to the JoSAA’s instructions and deadlines.

How to submit an application for JoSAA Counselling 2023?

Here are the procedures for applying to the JoSAA Counselling 2023 programme:

Registration: Visit the JoSAA website and select the link for registration. To establish an account, you must provide details such as your JEE Main or JEE Advanced roll number, password, and security pin.

Choice Completion: Sign into your JoSAA account and select your preferred courses and institutions. Ensure that you rank them in accordance with your preferences.

Review your selected options to ensure they are accurate before locking them. At the specified deadline, the system will automatically lock your selections, so make any necessary adjustments before then.

Seat Assignment: The JoSAA will assign seats in multiple phases based on merit and availability. Check the website for the seat allocation results to determine if you have been assigned a seat.

Payment of Fees and Reporting: If you are allotted a seat, you must pay the required admission fee and report to the designated institution within the allotted time frame. Complete the institute’s required procedures and document verification.

If you do not receive a seat in the first round, you will have the opportunity to partake in subsequent rounds, if applicable. In subsequent phases, use the same procedures for choice filling, locking, and seat allocation.

Throughout the counselling process, it is essential to routinely check the JoSAA website for updates and important dates.
