During Round 5, candidates will have the option to withdraw seats or withdraw from the seat allocation procedure.

Today, July 21, 2023, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will disclose the Round 5 seat allocation results. On the JoSAA website, josaa.nic.in, engineering aspirants can view the results.

During Round 5, candidates will have the option to withdraw seats or withdraw from the seat allocation procedure. The withdrawal period will run from 21 July 2023 at 20:00 IST to 24 July 2023 at 17:00 IST. From July 21, 2023, 20:00 IST to July 25, 2023, 17:00 IST, we will be able to respond to withdrawal-related inquiries. It is essential to note, however, that this round’s seat withdrawal or exit option only applies to IITs.

The previous four cycles of seat allocation have been effective in filling a substantial number of seats at prestigious institutions such as IITs, NITs, and other top engineering colleges. For Round 5, it is anticipated that the number of available seats will be lower than in previous rounds.

Visit the official JoSAA website: Utilize your preferred web browser to visit the JoSAA site.
Click “Seat Allotment Result”: Find the link labeled “Seat Allocation Result for Round 5” and click on it.
Enter Registration Details: To log in, you must supply your JEE Main or JEE Advanced application number, password, and security pin.
After successfully logging in, you will be redirected to the Round 5 Seat Allocation Result page.
View Your Distribution: Check the result to see which college and course were assigned to you in Round 5 of the JoSAA seat allocation process.
If you are dissatisfied with the assigned seat and wish to retract, please follow the withdrawal procedure within the specified timeframe.
