#JusticeForSSC_GD_Students: The Staff Selection Commission had announced the final results of GD constable recruitment 2018 in January 2021. The candidates, however, are still waiting for their appointment letters after over 18 months.
This gave rise to protests and online campaigns once in December last year. Candidates had gathered at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and they began protesting.
A similar situation is arising now as candidates have started marching barefoot for 1,100 km, from Nagpur to Delhi, to protest against the same. The march had begun on June 1.
Netizens are showing concern towards all these candidates on Twitter by tagging Home Minister Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and using #JusticeForSSC_GD_Students. Every second, Twitter is being flooded with dozens of such tweets.
